Sample report

A full sample report.

This is actual AIrena output — a host LLM executing a compare_versions bundle against the creators-we-na-10 cohort (10 filtered personas, Western Europe + North America, 25–34 — 9 real counted + 1 synthetic excluded), then merged by the judge pass. Version A was the condensed taap.bio page; version B the condensed Linktree tiers. Nothing below is edited except this header, the Twenty-currencies footnote, and the provenance footer.

TaskSubscribe to taap.bio ($19/mo) vs stay on Linktree
01 · Verdict

6 of 9 stay on Linktree; 3 of 9 pick taap.bio (mean willingness to subscribe 2.6 of 5). The panel splits on commerce need, not on craft: sellers switch, link-only creators won't pay $19/mo to replace free. The single highest-leverage change: prove the $190/mo replacement math with a fee breakdown, or the price reads as a hike for widgets nobody asked for.

02 · Recommendation

Sell the store to sellers, the import to everyone else.

Do not lead with the all-in-one stack pitch to link-only creators; lead with a free-or-cheap wedge (migration concierge + fee transparency) and sell the store only to sellers. The consolidation story converts exactly the three participants who take payments or bookings, while the other six hear “$19 for what I get free.”

Strongest counter-argument, from the findings themselves: Morgan Garcia (willingness 5/5) calls 0%-fee checkout plus twenty currencies the reason to move her whole shop, and Quinn Anderson (4/5) wants paid bookings with upfront payment — for sellers the price is trivial against current tooling.

Publish what “0% platform fees” excludes — Stripe/PayPal processing. Addresses the fee-skepticism finding.
Ship a one-click Linktree importer + “keep your URL” guide. Addresses migration-cost friction.
Localize the page and product into Spanish and name supported languages. Addresses Casey Anderson's blocker.
Replace “trusted by 5,000+” with named creators plus checkable stats. Addresses weak social proof.
Itemize the $190 stack claim with checkable prices. Addresses inflated-math disbelief.
03 · Themes

Theme A — “Charge me for money I make, not links I list”

Observed
6/9 say $19/mo is unjustified for a link page when Linktree is free. “I list links, I don't run a checkout — $19 a month buys me nothing I use.” (Alex Thomas); “Free does the job; nineteen dollars needs a reason and widgets aren't one.” (Sage Wilson)
Interpretation
mine — the panel prices taap.bio as a link tool, not a store, so the fee anchors against $0 rather than $190.
Implication
segment pricing or messaging by commerce need; never anchor link-only creators against a stack they don't own.

Theme B — “Sellers hear savings, everyone else hears switching cost”

Observed
3/9 (all with selling/booking activity) pick taap.bio; 5/9 cite rebuilding and re-training audience as the cost of moving. “Upfront-paid bookings plus my list in one place — that is my admin afternoon back.” (Quinn Anderson); “Moving links, store, list and bookings at once is a weekend I don't have.” (Taylor Lee)
Interpretation
mine — consolidation is a gain only where fragmentation already hurts; elsewhere it is pure migration risk.
Implication
sell sellers the bundle, sell everyone else a painless import first.

Theme C — “Trust is borrowed from the incumbent”

Observed
3/9 distrust “trusted by 5,000+ creators” next to the category leader; 2/9 want the fee math itemized. “Five thousand against Linktree's everybody is not trust, it is a rounding error.” (Casey Wilson); “Show me the $190 line by line or I assume it is padded.” (Sage Wilson)
Interpretation
mine — challenger claims are read as marketing until itemized; the incumbent's familiarity is the evidentiary bar.
Implication
replace aggregate claims with checkable specifics (named users, fee table, line-item stack math).

05 · Who differed, and on what

Commerce activity explains the pick split descriptively: the 3 participants who take payments or bookings (Quinn Anderson, Taylor Lee, Morgan Garcia) all pick taap.bio; the 6 link-only participants all stay. Experience splits intensity: both Entry participants (Sage Wilson willingness 1, Casey Brown 2) anchor hardest on free and distrust the stack math, while the Founder (Quinn Anderson, 4) prices against admin time saved. EU residence surfaces two reactions absent in North America: GDPR-France reassurance (Casey Wilson, Casey Anderson) and the Spanish-language blocker (Casey Anderson, monolingual Spanish speaker). No other axis split cleanly.

06 · What this panel could not tell you

Nobody marked outside_my_competence — the material assumes no code, accounting, or data science, and all nine are high-literacy non-developers, so the competence boundary never engaged. Open questions the material doesn't answer: what “0% fees” excludes, whether an importer exists, supported languages, and annual pricing. Material nobody reacted to: twenty currencies (only Morgan Garcia noticed it), live-visitor analytics, maps widget, SEO controls, and Linktree's own paid-tier prices — the panel never comparison-shopped Linktree Pro, so “free vs $19” may flatter Linktree.

07 · Next research
Fee-transparency test with real sellers: show an itemized “0% platform fee + Stripe's ~3% processing” table and ask what they expected to pay — settles whether the current line misleads (from Rowan Davis's “does Stripe still take its cut”).
Migration-concierge test: prototype a one-click Linktree import and measure whether Taylor Lee's “weekend I don't have” objection moves — settles if switching cost or price is the true blocker.
Spanish-language test with EU creators: present a localized page and ask Casey Anderson's question back — settles whether language, not price, blocks the EU segment.
